Hotline Volunteer
Provide crisis counseling to survivors through VSC's 24-hour hotline and accompany survivors to police departments and hospitals
Hotline volunteers undergo extensive training to assist VSC in providing crisis counseling to survivors through VSC's 24-hour hotline. Hotline volunteers provide accompaniment services at police departments and hospitals. Hotline volunteers need reliable transport to go to accompaniments, community events, etc.
Training Requirements
65 Hour Sexual Assault Counselor/Victim Advocate Training
Clearances
FBI, Child Abuse, PA Criminal Background
Time Commitment
Minimum of 2 shifts per month, 1 Community Event per year, 1 year commitment to VSC
